Robert Brady Ijames 7-12-37 – 6-16-21 passed away peacefully from complications from Parkinsons Disease. He is survived by his wife MaryJane DeCesare Ijames of 43 years and sister Sharon Ijames Smith. Also children, grandchildren Read Obituary

My Sincerest Condolences to the Entire Family of Bob Ijames. Bob was a mentor to me as a youth and young man. I will always be grateful and cherish the opportunities he gave me as a young teen to earn resources on the services crew at Trane Air-conditioning. He also was as friend and cared about me an my family. He will be sorely missed, but I will always cherish my memories with him have gratitude for my relationship with him. Bob you were the best like a father to me for 43 years, I will never forget how you loved me and my family with open arms. You made our Christmas's so special and never missed an event for the kids. We will always have you in our thoughts and prayers and you will never be forgotten and loved.
I am a better person for having known my grandpa. His welcoming and warm presence, his kind heart, and the love he had for his family are all things I will miss. I have a lot of memories close to my heart, and I’m thankful to my family that has cared and loved him while I’ve been so far removed in Vermont.
Bob was a new grandparent figure to me, when I was a teenager. For some reason I felt an instant connection with him from the moment I met him. He made me feel like one of his own. He was always kind, loving and funny. One of my fondest memories was my first trip to Florida to meet the rest of the family he gave Carly and I his credit card and told us to go get our nails done together. I had a great time and I felt so welcomed. When we returned he told me that I looked like a “true Floridian girl”, which made me smile. I’m hoping, my teenage self, thanked Bob for that fun day because it meant so much to me. We will miss you Bob. Rest In Peace ❤️

Many years ago, over 40 I think, at the Causeway Inn we met you and Bob along with Rick, Georgette, Rich and Chari. We became friends and shared many trips and happy moments together from Florida Keys to Christmas Eve at your home with your Mom and family. They were wonderful times and we were so lucky to have them and to be able to share so much of your family's love. You have a lovely and caring family and Bob was a Giant amongst them. Everyone enjoyed being around Bob because he was fun and he was greatly respected. So many memories gathered over the years and we treasure every single one of them. Dear Maryjane,
it certainly is with great sadness that both Loretta and I express our heartfelt sense of loss over the passing of Bob. When Loretta and I moved into the community some eighteen years ago, our first doorbell ring was that of Bob. He invited me to play golf with some of the fellows on Ashbourne and a lasting friendship began. He will always be remembered as the fellow who holds the record for the most rounds of golf played at Heritage Springs in a single season. Without a doubt he will certainly be missed.
