Robert Michael Bloom, 68, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
Born on August 22, 1957, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Rob spent over 25 years working as a T-1 and Fiber Optic Specialist before retiring from the phone company. He lived a life dedicated to his family, friends, and the community he loved in Hudson, Florida.
Rob had a passion for traveling the world with family and friends and loved experiencing food and cuisines from different cultures. He also loved the water. Growing up around Daytona Beach helped shape his lifelong love for the ocean, boating, and fishing.
Above all else, Rob deeply loved his family and especially cherished his four grandchildren: Ayla Bloom, Zadie Bloom, Liza Pozo, and Letti Pozo.
He is survived by his children, Joshua Bloom and Kayla Pozo, along with his beloved grandchildren. Rob was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Michelle Bloom, and his parents, Alan and Estelle Bloom.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, Florida 34655. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Rob’s life and to share memories of the love and joy he brought to others.
Rob’s love for life, adventure, and family will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
