Richard Anders Johnson's Obituary
Richard Anders Johnson, known affectionately as Dick, passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 89, in Odessa, FL after enduring a long and courageous fight against cancer. Dick was born in Jamestown, NY and relocated to Tampa, FL in 1978. He was a contractor by trade and valued wealth of knowledge in his profession.
Dick was a devoted veteran of the US Army, a true patriot who honored and loved his county. Dick was a man of many words, many friends and many family members whom he cherished. Dick was happily married to the love of his life for 65 years, Judith (Corbran) Johnson, whom they shared two children, Craig (Megan) Johnson and Tanya Johnson Smith, all from Odessa, FL. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Jada (Colten) Maynard of Palm Harbor, FL Ian Smith of Odessa, Kelly Johnson of Orlando and Tyler (Taylor) Johnson of Palm Harbor, FL and two great-grandchildren, Emerson Maynard(5) and Ava Maynard(4) who were all an amazing light in his life.
