Richard Melvin Henriquez's Obituary
Richard M. Henriquez, 84, Odessa, passed away on October 29, 2015. He was born in Tampa May 29, 1931 to the late Frank and Quirina Henriquez. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Antoinette D. Henriquez; his children: Kenneth and Sharon Henriquez, Steven and Joanna Henriquez and Wayne and Anita Henriquez; grandchildren: Marisa and Mikey Torres, Jill and Matt Barnes, Brian and Mimi Henriquez, Alyssa Henriquez, Wesley and Hayley Henriquez, and Nicholas Henriquez; great-grandchildren: Mason and Melina Torres, Abigail, Isabel and Estella Barnes, Mia and Barrett Henriquez and William Henriquez; siblings: Kenneth and Olga Henriquez, Zoraida Henriquez, Frances Henriquez, Vincent Quelle and Yolanda Henriquez. He was preceded in death by his siblings Douglas, Wallace and William Henriquez, Sylvia Quelle and nephew Vincent D. Quelle. Other survivors include his many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a devoted and loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. Richard proudly served his country as a U.S. Army Sergeant during the Korean War being honorably discharged from Ft. Jackson, SC. Family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 1 from 1 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (727-376-7824).
