Hall, Richard Earl, age 92 of The Woodlands, TX, passed away on December 21, 2021, 4 days before his 93rd birthday. Dick was the son of Lushion Vance Hall and Eunice Mae (Smith). He was the beloved sweetheart of the late Lois (Pat) Joy Hall (Armstrong), who died on July 9, 2013, age 83, at their home in Trinity, Fla. They were married for 60 years before her passing. Dick and Pat met at Michigan Bell in Detroit where Pat was a telephone operator and they were married on Nov 4, 1952 (election day). Dick was the much loved and admired father of his daughter, Cris Gray (Jim) and his son, Rich Hall (Christina). He was an adored and involved grandpa with 5 grown grandchildren-Sadie, Kyle, Emily, Nick and Ben, of whom he was very proud. He had 6 great-grandchildren-Eve, Tyler, Mikenzie, Sydney, Olivia and Alexis, and loved being a great-grandpa. Dick is preceded in death by his brother, Harold (TN)(Ruth), and survived by his brother Bob (AZ)(Lillian). His nieces-Susie, Elaine and Carolyn and nephews-Kirk, Dave and Ken, will miss his stories and friendship. Dick and his brothers were house builders in Owosso for many years. Dick loved to give the family tours of his school-Shiawassee Street School, places he had worked starting at 13 years old and homes he lived in and built in Owosso and Corunna. He graduated from Albion College in Michigan and later made a career with AT&T. His career moved him and Pat to various states and they lived in over 15 homes. Dick and Pat were avid hobbyists. Pat was known for her exquisite handmade wool dyed hooked rugs. Dick enjoyed woodworking, making beautiful clocks and watercolor paintings. After his retirement from AT&T, he became a SCORE counselor, helping many people to achieve their dreams of being business owners. His published many business plan books, most recently the UNI business plan at www.UniBiz-Plan.com which was used by the University of Houston. He continued to be an entrepreneur and business man, presenting to group audiences up until a month before his death. He was a respected and honest man and genuinely liked by all who were involved in his life and business. He always had time to talk, tell you how proud he was of you, and tell you he loved you. We love you both greatly and we miss you every day. A family service will be held in February in Trinity, Florida at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
