Raphael "Ray" Brown's Obituary
BROWN, Raphael “Ray”, age 86, born July 30, 1935, in Vine Grove, Kentucky, died January 6, 2022. He retired after 35 years from Anheuser Busch Brewery as shop foreman. He died peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Lutz, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Shearl Brown, sister Patsy Carroll, seven (7) children & their respective spouses (Phillip Brown, Cynthia & Kim Thomas, Steven Brown, Donna Fischer, Peggy Brown & David Hess, Timothy & Juliet Brown, and Nancy & Mark Chaffin), nine (9) grandchildren (Rejeana Brown, Ashley Wilson, Sarah & Justin Racine, Kevin Chaffin, Nathan & Angela Brown, Matthew Brown, Kasey & Wade Amick, Alexander Brown, & Christian Fischer), and (4) great grandchildren (Shaylee Forsha, Emily Short, Benjamin Wilson, & Ava Racine).
Our family would like to express our thanks for the help and care given by Hospice.
Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice.
Mass will be held January 28, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Timothy’s Catholic Church. Please arrive 30 minutes early.
The Memorial Service / Reception will be held January 28, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., at Trinity Memorial Gardens
Ray was a soft spoken, gentle and loving father. He was an avid Nascar racing fan. He loved the outdoors, gardening, country music, going out to eat, travelling, going to festivals, museums, or shows, and going on cruises with his friends Bill & Jean Proudfit or family.
He was a member of Saint Timothy’s Catholic Church.
