Philip Foran's Obituary
Foran, Philip, 94, of Hudson, Fl and formerly New Hyde Park, NY, died June 5, 2013.
Born in the Bronx, NY he moved to Florida from New York 25 years ago.
He spent 35 years as a New York City Police Officer, retiring as Deputy Inspector
and was a Captain in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He is known for his
intellect, work ethic, love of family and sense of humor. He is past president of the New York City
Captains Endowment Association and officer of the Suncoast 10-13 Club. Predeceased by
daughter Barbara, two brothers, Francis and Jack and son in law Tom. Survivors are wife
Peggy of 69 years, four daughters, Patty (John), Peggy (David), Eileen and Maureen. Son,
Jerry (June), nine grand and nine great grandchildren. Viewing Sunday June 9th from
4-6 pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens with funeral mass Monday, June 10th, 10 am at
St. James Catholic Church, Port Richey, Fl.
