Paula Whitus' Obituary
Paula Whitus, 72, of Odessa, Florida, passed away on October 28, 2024. She was born on February 25, 1952, in Rockwood, Tennessee, to Chester and Pauline Hubbard. After graduating from high school, Paula attended The Ohio State University, earning her master’s degree in occupational therapy. She enjoyed a successful career as a pediatric occupational therapist. She met and married her husband William Ronald "Ron" Whitus, and in 1983, the couple welcomed their son Tim into the world.
In her spare time, Paula stayed busy by crafting, cooking, gardening, and homemaking. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a lifelong fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football team. She loved being outdoors, hiking and enjoying waterfalls.
Paula is survived by her son Tim (Brandie) Whitus, her brother Doug (Mary Jane) Hubbard, and her sister Sheila McDavid. She was preceded in death by her husband Ron Whitus, her parents Chester and Pauline Hubbard, her grandmother Cora Arnwine, and her brother-in-law Bill McDavid.
