Paul V. Valachovic's Obituary
Paul Victor Valachovic Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep in New Port Richey, Florida on December 8th , 2022 after battling a long illness he did not deserve.. He was born in Binghamton, New York on Aprl 26th, 1936 to his beloved parents Helen and Paul J. Valachovic.
Paul was an avid athlete who played Baseball and Basketball through College. He was an excellent Bowler and Golfer. He met his beloved wife, Dolores(Martinkovic) Valachovic, while playing Basketball for St. Cyrils Catholic Church in Binghamton and they married on August 23, 1958.
Paul graduated from Broome Community College in Binghamton with an engineering degree. Paul was a successful Sr.. Program Manager for Link Simulators where he worked on several major government projects including the Lunar Excursion Module.
Paul’s greatest joy in life was his family and is survived by his wife Dolores, Son, Paul Jr, Daughter, Linda Rice (Scott Rice), Son, Gregg Valachovic (Beth Valachovic), sister, Beverly Valachovic and his beloved Grand Children, Scott P. Rice (Danielle Charlemagne Rice), Emily Rice, Jessica Valachovic and two Great Grand Children, Elijah and Mira. In addition to his cousins and several Brothers and Sisters in law, nieces and nephews all of which remember him for his kind and generous and easy going nature.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 from 12 PM – 3 PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Dr. Trinity, Florida.
In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
