Paul Leo Devine's Obituary
Paul Leo Devine Sr, 85 of New Port Richey passed away peacefully on Nov 1, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born on Sept 11, 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of the late George Devine Jr and the late Rita Devine.
A loving husband to the late Clare Devine, Paul was the pillar of strength and support for his family. Together they raised 3 children: Paul Jr, Diane and Debbie. He was a devoted husband and father, always there to offer his guidance, support and love. He loved family gatherings with his children and grandchildren.
Paul had many hobbies throughout his life, including his love for playing tennis and poker. He was known to have a quirky sense of humor often giving digs to his grandchildren for shock value.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years Clare, survived by his children, his son Paul Devine of Plymouth, MA, his daughters Diane Connolly of Weymouth, MA and Debbie Kilroy and her husband Steven of Brockton, MA, also his 8 grandchildren Jessica, Michael Jeffrey and his longtime girlfriend Bridget, Nicole, Michael Steven, Sean, Mackenzie, Colleen and Liam and his great granddaughter Elena Weber. He is also survived by his brothers George “Chicky” Devine III of Huntingdon, PA and William Devine of Hanson, MA as well as many nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation and funeral services to celebrate Paul’s life will be held Thursday, Nov 6, 2025 2-5pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens located at 12609 Memorial Dr, Trinity Fl. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in his name.
