Patricia Sexton 's Obituary
Patricia Sexton, 80 years of age, went into the loving arms of Jesus on May 23, 2019 at her home in Odessa, FL.
Pat was born March 13, 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Bonner and Raymond Sexton and her brother Robert Sexton. She is survived by her loving brothers, Raymond Sexton and Thomas Sexton, as well as many nieces and nephews and her devoted life long friend and “sister in the Lord” Donna Jarvis.
Pat grew up in Bayonne, NJ and later lived in Clark, NJ before moving to Odessa, FL. She was a graduate of Jersey City University earning a degree in Elementary Education. She taught 3rd and 4th grade in Cranford, NJ for 34 years. She loved and was loved by her students, making each one feel special.
Pat was a devoted follower of Jesus and spread His love to everyone she encountered. She was loved by all at Crosspointe Church of Odessa where she was a member. Her contagious smile and quick sense of humor always brightened the room. Pat was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger. “To know her was to love her.” She will be greatly missed by all.
