Patricia Maxcy's Obituary
Patricia J Maxcy 81, of Spring Hill, Florida and Hayesville, North Carolina, died February 8, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.
Patricia, ‘Pat’, was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina where she grew up the youngest of eight children. She graduated from High School in 1954. In her mid-20’s she moved to Ft. Lauderdale Florida where she met the love of her life, Tom Maxcy. They were married in 1966 and would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary in May.
Pat is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Donaldson of Trinity, Florida and Robin Maxcy of Hayesville, North Carolina, son-in law Matthew Donaldson and five grandchildren; Jade, Jake, Juliana, Jack and Jillian.
Pat loved her family and friends dearly and enjoyed every moment spent with them. Shopping with friends, gardening, antiquing, 50’s rock’n’roll music, southern cooking and stray animals were among her favorite things.
