Obardo Valdes' Obituary
Obardo Valdes of Spring Hill, passed away on October 2, 2020. He was born on August 5, 1929 in Esmeralda, Camaguey, Cuba to Juan Antonio Valdes Bravo & Isabel Roque Brito. He was the sixth child and third son out of ten siblings. He moved to the United States 50 years ago with a bright promise for a better future for his family. He accomplished all that and more. After braving 17 years of cold Chicago winters, he moved to Spring Hill, Florida in 1987. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Georgelina Valdes; son Carlos Valdes (wife Yeisid Estevez); granddaughters Jennifer Vega (husband Roland Vega) and Christina Abbinanti (husband Salvatore Abbinanti); great grandchildren Xavier Vega, Nicolas Abbinanti, and Sofia Abbinanti; siblings Angela Valdes Roque, Ana Valdes Roque, Olga Ranero, Antonio Israel Valdes Roque, Armando Valdes Roque, and their children. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
