Norma Hernandez's Obituary
Norma Iris Hernández passed away peacefully on September 27, 2021, after bravely dealing with an illness for 8 months. She is the daughter of Evaristo Rosa and Francisca Rosa Olmo, eldest sister to Lucy Archilla, Evaristo Rosa, Jr., and Sandra Rosa.
Norma was a devoted and loving wife to Irving Hernández for 58 years. A wonderful mother to Vanessa Quintas, Waleska (Wally) González, and twins Kelvin and Melvin Hernández. She loved her sons-in-law Jorge Quintas, Gerry González, and daughter-in-law Alyssa (Gewell) Garchitorena Hernández. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Kayla, Isabella (Bella), Tatiana, Gilbert (Gil) and Ghenévee.
Norma was a gifted floral designer for over 50 years and was passionate about traveling the world, dancing, music and gardening. She was a devout Catholic with a deep faith in God and the power of prayer.
Over the years she supported events held by non-profit organizations such as Tampa West Rotarians, Puerto Ricans in Florida, and PROFESA.
Norma’s presence on earth will be greatly missed but she is forever in our hearts. Please think of her whenever you see a butterfly, a hummingbird, or a beautiful flower.
