Noris E Dominguez Beruvides Baldwin's Obituary
Noris E. Dominguez Beruvides Baldwin, 92, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2023, at home, with her loving daughter by her side. She was born on August 13, 1931, in Victoria de las Tunas, Province of Oriente, Cuba, to the late Evaristo Dominguez Pedraza and Louisa Cruz and is preceded in death by her nine siblings and her two husbands. She immigrated to the United States on June 27, 1962, fleeing Communist Cuba with her first husband, Gaudioso B. Beruvides, and her two children, Jose’ and Ariana Beruvides, seeking a better life for herself and her family, her third child Robert Beruvides joined the family in July of 1964 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was a Graduate of Havana Business Academy in Cuba and while living in St. Paul, Minnesota she obtained a Cosmetology license and was employed by Horst of Austria, and later she worked as an Engineering Assistant for Sperry Unisys and in Accounting for Government and Public Works in Clearwater, Florida. She was a devout Catholic and a very spiritual person.
Noris was a social butterfly and a friend to everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She had a warm smile, a generous heart, and a lively spirit. She was always ready to lend a hand, share a joke, or offer a hug. She touched many lives with her kindness and joy. She loved Classical Music, Opera, History, a collector of antiques, an intrepid thrift store shopper, an excellent cook of Cuban cuisine, and a strong believer in exercise. But her greatest joy was traveling the world with her second husband, Kenneth Baldwin.
Noris is survived by daughter Ariana E .Beruvides-Curtis, son-in-law William E. Curtis, Jr., sons Jose’ C. Beruvides and Robert F. Beruvides, and granddaughter Elena V. Beruvides.
Noris will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
