Noel Ballesteros' Obituary
Noel “Amboy” Ramelb Ballesteros, 49, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, with his loving family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Noel was born on Christmas 1974 in Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Juanito and Cecilia Ballesteros. He graduated from Northern Christian College in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Education. That same year, he welcomed his beautiful daughter, Dren, with his life companion, Jo Ann. He was loving and caring both as a partner and as a father.
Noel worked as a certified nursing assistant for more than a decade after his move to the United States in 2011. As a certified nursing assistant, he has touched the lives of his colleagues and patients.
Noel enjoyed many hobbies. He loved nature and enjoyed nature’s scenery through photography, road trips, and especially through biking. He enjoyed biking on the weekends and liked joining cycling races. He also loved taking on projects around the house; from repairing broken sprinklers, computers and cars, to painting the whole house. In his free time, he also loved playing video games, cheering on his favorite basketball and soccer teams, and playing with his dogs.
Noel was known for his vibrant personality, kindness, and beautiful smile. He made everyone around him happy. He lived life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
Noel is predeceased by his father, Juanito Ballesteros. Noel is survived by his partner of 28 years, Jo Ann Acedo; his loving daughter, Dren Acedo; his mother Cecilia Ballesteros and stepfather Vicente Velasco; his sister Gina Ballesteros; and his nieces and nephew (Jane Ballesteros, Shanthel Ramos, and Roldan Ballesteros). He also leaves behind his numerous friends who cherish him.
A funeral service in memory of Noel will be held on May 4, 2024, Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Reception will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Location will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens (12609 Memorial Dr, Trinity, FL 34655).
