Nancy Berti Koelpin's Obituary
Nancy Berti Koelpin, 71, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2026, under the care of hospice in New Port Richey.
Nancy was born in Rockville Centre, New York and the beloved daughter of John and Veronica Berti. She graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1972. She later built a successful career in finance and insurance, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
In 1999, Nancy moved to Florida and met the love of her life, Mike Koelpin. The two were married in 2003 and shared 22 wonderful years together, building a life filled with love, laughter, and partnership.
Nancy had a passion for cooking and was an exceptional baker, often delighting family and friends with her delicious creations. She loved decorating, spending time at the beach, and especially cherished the Christmas season; it was her favorite time of year. She joyfully decorated her home and brought warmth and magic to those around her. Above all, Nancy treasured time spent with her family and friends and created countless memories that will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Koelpin; her sister, Joy Marie; her brother, Gary (wife, Barb) , her daughters, Alison Arthur and Joann Arthur; her son, Steven Koelpin (wife, Kali); and her cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Piper, Charlie, and Vinny.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ronnie Berti.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jay Weil Center of Gulfside Hospice in gratitude for the care they provided.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Gulfside Hospice and medical team at Tampa General Hospital who supported Nancy with compassion and dignity.
