Naida Ilsa Sepulveda's Obituary
Naida Ilsa Sepulveda, 88, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on April 22, 2026, at Westchester Gardens Rehab in Safety Harbor, Florida. She was born on April 1, 1938, in Villalba, Puerto Rico, to Felix Morales and Eustocia Roman. After completing high school, she began her career in the healthcare field, working for many years as an office manager at a doctor’s office prior to her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed 60 years of marriage with her husband Ruben Sepulveda, until his passing in 2019, and the couple raised three children together, sons Ruben and Albert and daughter Naida.
Naida’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She truly loved all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved looking for hidden treasures at garage sales and enjoyed going out for a nice lobster dinner. She was proud to be a cancer survivor, winning her battle with it in 2002.
Naida is survived by her son Albert Sepulveda and daughter Naida Marisa Sepulveda; her grandchildren Ashten Schutz, Camron Sepulveda, Brianne Sepulveda-Smith, Christen Cerrito, Robbie Cerrito, Nico Cerrito, Sierra and Desireé; her great-grandchildren Rylee Schutz, Brynlee Schutz and Jalen; and her daughters-in-law Lois Sepulveda and KayLynne Sepulveda. She was preceded in passing by her husband Ruben Sepulveda and her son Ruben Francisco Sepulveda.
A funeral service for Naida is scheduled for May 7, 2026, 2:00pm, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, Florida 34241. The service will be officiated by Deacon Greg Fewer.
