Myra Sanneman Shaw's Obituary
Shaw, Myra (nee Sanneman, Warhola)
On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, Myra Shaw passed away courageously at the age of 62. As a Tampa native and Tampa Catholic alum, Myra effortlessly interwove a life of a benevolent wife, inspirational mother, tenderhearted grandmother, nurturing daughter and sister, and devoted friend. When not an empowering force in the lives of her children and grandchildren, she was most happy on the gulf shores with sand between her toes, and eclectic music in the background, just loud enough to overtake the warm ocean breezes. Myra lit up a room with her laughter and inspired others with her selflessness. She lived life to the fullest and will be missed by those that shared her adventures. She was preceded in death by her high school beau and loving husband of 37 years Mark Warhola but was blessed to share her remaining joyful years with her kindred spirit, and second husband, Steve Shaw.
She is welcomed in heaven by her father Clarence Eugene Sanneman and will forever be remembered by her surviving mother Florence, husband Steve, son Michael, daughter and best friend Martel, their spouses, Meg and Allison, stepson Adam, sisters Deborah and Susan, brother Douglas, and grandchildren Mason and Jordyn.
The family will celebrate her life with friends at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Saturday, September 22, with a remembrance between 3-5pm, followed by a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Home Network.
