Mohan G. Sadarangani's Obituary
Mohan Sadarangani passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the age of 90. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mohan was born on October 31, 1934 in Hyderabad Sindh, India to the late Gopaldas and Thakuri Sadarangani. After graduating in 1956 from Punjab University, he joined the Indian diplomatic service. He married Minu Ratanchandani on November 26, 1958. Together, they lived in New Delhi, Washington D.C., Nairobi, and Madrid before settling in North Miami Beach, FL in 1973. He moved to New York City in 1975, working for various legal firms, before retiring and eventually moving to Wesley Chapel, FL in 2023.
In addition to his wife Minu, he is survived by his son Ranjan, daughter-in-law Karin Sadarangani, and their 3 children - Anthony Ryan, Dominic James, and Matthew Michael; his daughter Anjali, son-in-law Avinash Mehrotra, and their 3 children - Sajan, Amiya, and Naina; siblings Mithu Sadarangani, Chandru Sadarangani, Janki Kripalani, and Veneeta Malkani; sister-in-law Rollina Adams; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mohan was predeceased by his parents Gopaldas and Thakuri and his siblings Pushpa, Taro, Kamla, Champa, and Hiro.
His passions included spending time with family, traveling, and dabbling in the stock market. He enjoyed hot cups of tea, sweet mango lassis, and desserts of any kind! Mohan was a kind-hearted and loving husband, father, and friend. He freely spoke his mind, his words leaving a lasting and memorable impression. Mohan will be remembered for the warmth and compassion he brought into the lives of all those around him.
