Michael Edward Guasp's Obituary
Mike passed peacefully, surrounded by his family Friday afternoon, November 16, 2018 at the age of 79 in Tampa, FL.
He was born in San Juan, PR July 13, 1939. He spent most of his life in Brentwood on Long Island, NY.
He retired to Florida after 45 years of service with the Suffolk Bus Corporation as a public transportation bus driver. Mike enjoyed driving bus, he met many people over his career. When he retired it was told that he accumulated 1.7 million miles of drive time on the bus.
Mike enjoyed watching baseball, horse racing, t.v game shows, world history and staying up on current events. Mike still followed the Mets and Yankees when he moved to Florida. He always tried to have the answer when watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 11 of 14 siblings. Mike leaves behind his wife, Rose, 4 sons, and 9 grandchildren.
You will be deeply missed, it was easy to make you laugh, you where easily able to get roweled up. We are going to miss you, Dad. We love you!!!!!!!!!!
