To the Garcia Family, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.
I had the pleasure of working with Michael at the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista South. We worked together to bring one of his top clients to my property, thru the process I got to know Michael and became friends. His sense of humor and kindness will be missed. May you rest in peace my friend and may god bless your soul and bring peace and comfort to your family for their loss.

I'll always treasure my many fond memories of Mike, and our friendship, and the great times we had over many years. We became good friends in high school and stayed close thru college & well beyond. Visiting Frank's at Virginia Beach, cruising to WVU in Mike's convertible, skiing black diamonds at Killington, and watching the Redskins beat the Cowboys at Irving stadium are only a few of my favorite, early memories with Mike. It was great being able to have more good times with Mike in Florida in the late 80's when each of our careers took us there. He was always a trusted friend with strong values. In our recent conversations, Mike stressed the value of prayer and spending time with family. He was a great friend and a great man and has surely found his place with our Lord.
My loving thoughts and continued prayers are with the whole family during this very sad and difficult time.

Dear Terri and Zack: Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss. I had no idea Mike had been sick. After you guys moved to Tampa, we seem to have lost touch. I really enjoyed working with Mike when he was with Hilton and it was a wonderful coincidence when he married your Aunt Faye. Take care of yourselves. Best regards, Ian Cordes
I was very fortunate to work with Mike early in his career (early '90's). I was his leader at the Fontainebleau Hilton on Miami Beach. He was passionate about learning the convention business and providing quality service to each potential client. We went our separate ways but was fortunate to see him during a FAM at Disney two years ago. I saw that same passion that didn't fade with time. He was proud of his family and his position at Conference Direct. He mentioned some of the conversations we had "back in the day" and how he used some of those lessons with his team. I was both touched and proud. My heart is heavy and the world will miss this special person who brought so much life to those who had the pleasure to work with him.
Having known Mike for so many years, its difficult to comprehend not being able to pick up a phone and chat. We met doing business many year ago, but the business relationship quickly turned into a friendship. A friendship I valued, as we shared so much with one another. Mike, you will be so missed, yet never forgotten. Somehow I know that there is a party going on in Heaven, and your the guy running it. Until we meet again brother, Rest in Peace.... I love you brother.... Curt
Words cannot express how sad I am to hear of the passing of Mike. I met Mike way back when at the Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale. My loving thoughts and prayers goes out to Terri, Zach and Nicole. May your soul rest in eternal peace and may God watch over your loved one.
