Matthew Jenson Narkier's Obituary
In loving remembrance of Matthew Jenson Narkier, a cherished young life lost too soon. Matthew, age 23, passed away January 25, 2024, after a courageous 3 year battle with leukemia. His strength and resilience left an indelible mark on all that knew and loved him. He found joy in the company of his family and his many friends. Matthew loved many hobbies that illuminated his days including cars, target and skeet shooting, working out, fishing, lobstering, and boating. The quote by Wayne Gretzky, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take,” delivered by Michael Scott, a character in one of Matt’s favorite TV shows The Office, exemplified the actions he took as he sought a cure working with the doctors at St. Joe’s, Moffitt, and MD Anderson.
We loved Matt more than all the stars in the sky. Let us honor his memory and celebrate the joy he brought to our lives. He touched the lives of many in more ways than he will ever know. May he find eternal peace. Visitation, funeral service, and gravesite burial is scheduled for Monday, January 29, 2024 at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Brian Moon from Church of the Suncoast will officiate. Visitation begins at 8:30 am followed by a funeral service at 9:30 am and graveside burial immediately following.
