Mary C. Tschan's Obituary
On April 17, 2021, Mary passed away after a courageous battle with the complications of Covid.
She was a devoted wife and mother to her four children, loving grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister. She loved sharing her wisdom. If you needed a spell check before there was one, you asked Mom!
She had a remarkable intellect and even at 96 years old was very sharp indeed! She was compassionate and giving and always willing to listen and offer condolences and moral support.
Her dream was to be a nurse, but life had different plans for her. She was employed as a telephone operator for 30 years with NY Bell.
Her family meant everything to her, and she was proud of all her children.
She was and always will be remembered as a good mother. We celebrate her life and thank her for the love and joy she brought to ours. We find solace in her memory and comfort that she now joins her “Darling” husband Lewis in Heaven.
According to her wishes there will be no ceremony. If you wish, we ask that you donate in her name to your favorite charity as we know she would appreciate it.
She is survived by her children: Bill, Jim, Karen, and Chris; Diane, Denise, and Gary; grandchildren: Billy, Gina, Scott, Michael, Aaron, David, Colin, Stephanie, Lonnie “James”, Zachary; great grandchildren: Eddie, Tiffani, Nicolette, Olivia, Philip, Tommy, Charlotte, Amara, Chloe, and Kyle; sisters: “Tootie”, Anna Mae, Rita, and Agnes.
She is loved and will be forever remembered by all who knew her.
