Mary F. Aloi's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of our beloved, Mary Frances (Fran) Aloi on June 1, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Mary was born on August 7, 1932, in Pittsburgh, PA, and grew up in Homewood. Though Pittsburgh was her "hometown", she loved living her last 44 years in Florida. She was a devout Christian throughout her life, and loved the Lord with all her heart.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. for 61 years; who always referred to as his "Angel"; loving mother to Michelle Ann (Anthony Kallenbaugh), Donna Marie, John (Bobbi) Aloi, and Jamie Lynn (Will Perez); grandmother of April (Mike Toney), Amber Kallenbaugh (Robert Parziale), Joshua Ojeda Aloi, and great-grandmother to Aiden Toney; daughter of the late Francis and Mary James; sister of David James, Patricia Sullivan, Christine (Bob Meyer), Debby (Ron Ludchak), and the late Robert James, Shirley Tomalewski, and Kathleen Vaughan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Living Word Church, and loved singing in the choir in her earlier years.
Friends will be received Wednesday, June 8 at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1-5, at 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, Florida; and a blessing service on Thursday, June 9 at 10:30 at Living Word Church, 5151 Rowan Road, New Port Richey, Florida. A Celebration of Life will immediate follow the church service, followed by a graveside blessing at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery.
To know Mary "Fran" was to know a soft-spoken, kind-hearted, sweet lady. Noone was ever a 'stranger' to her; she could strike up a conversation with anyone. She loved to shop, and shop, and shop the local stores - pretty much on a daily basis. Many of the employees of different stores knew her on a first-name basis, especially at the local Bealls of Florida where she could be found at least a couple times a week.
She is already greatly missed by her family and her many, many friends; and we look forward to the day we will all be reunited again, FOREVER IN HEAVEN WITH THE LORD.
