Martin Bowker's Obituary
Bowker, Martin Ewing age 71, died Sunday, March 20, 2016, at home. He was born May 18, 1944 to Felix E. and Lorene M. (Dotson) Bowker in Dickson, TN. On March 19, 1965, he married Diane M. Wilson, and she preceded him in death on August 2, 2009. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He then began his career as a CPA, retiring as a partner from Cherry Bekaert and Holland. He is survived by; daughter, Catherine Bowker; brother, James Bowker; sister-in-law, Ann Wilson; nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jean Estes Arthurs; brothers-in-law, Ernest Estes, Howard Arthurs, James Wilson and John Wilson; and sister-in-law; Maxine Bowker.
A visitation will be held Wednesday March 23 from 1 to 3pm and a service will follow at 3pm; at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Trinity, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Idlewild Baptist Church.
