Sobocinski, Mark Andrew
72, Passed away on Christmas Day, 2021 after a 10 year courageous battle against cancers and chronic arthritis. He is survived by his wife Maryanne; son Dylan; his brother and sister-in-law Alan and Kathleen Sobocinski and his family in New Jersey. Our beloved Mark was born April 8, 1949 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY. He was known as “Sobo” by all his friends and family. He was a graduate of Xaverian High School and a parishioner of Our Lady of Angels Roman Catholic Church. Sobo was a talented musician who entertained Brooklynites as the keyboardist in Onion Soup, a local late 1960’s rock band. After relocating with Maryanne to Largo, FL in 1995, he had a long, varied career in hospital materials management, real estate and property management. A devoted father and husband, Sobo’s passions included jamming with Kick Start the Band, protecting the environment, gardening, fishing and attending Tampa Bay Rays and Lightning NHL hockey games with his pride and joy, Dylan Jerome. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
