Marion L Poppelreiter's Obituary
Marion L Poppelreiter, 102, of Hudson, FL. passed away peacefully on January 4, 2024. Born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Alexander Theisen and Viola Wright-Theisen. She grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and graduated from St. Alphonsus parish school with 12 years of perfect attendance. Went on to marry James H. Poppelreiter in 1942, her husband of 67 years. They raised their five children, James (Linda), Cheryl, Janice, Charles and Karen in Union Lake, Michigan and in 1973 moved to Bayonet Point, Florida where they enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful weather. She loved her 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild who she especially cherished.
She was a devoted wife, mother, Grandmother, and friend. She loved to cook, bake, and especially keeping the home! Her life’s mission was to spoil her children, an accomplishment she was so proud of.
With a warm smile, a generous heart, and a gentle spirit, she was always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. She touched many lives over the years and will be greatly missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. James the Apostle Church. 8400 Monarch Drive Port Richey on February 20th at 10am.
