Mario Ortiz Calderon's Obituary
Mario Ortiz Calderon, 79 years old, passed away on June 11th, 2024 at his home in Port Richey, FL surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of Amparo Lebron Ortiz and they shared 50 years of marriage together.
Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, on September 9th, 1944. He was the son of Benito Ortiz Torres and Manuela Calderon Garcia. He was the brother of Pepón, Miguel Angel, Victor, Augustin, Rosa, Roberto, Benito, Maria and Frances.
He is survived by his wife, Amparo and their children Mario (Maria), Madeline (Rolando), Shirley, Amparito (Amiud) and Luis Daniel (Elba). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rolando Jr. (Ashley), Justin, Amylynn (Joel), Julian, Lindsey (Jovany), Jackie Lynn, Maleena, Jose Jr. (Bernice), Alissah (Roberto), Joshua, Mario Alexander, Luis Daniel Jr., Leandro and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mario loved the beach, fishing and was enamored with his beautiful island of Puerto Rico. He will be remembered for his dedication and great love for his family, as well as his wonderful sense of humor and his unforgettable laugh.
Let us carry forward his legacy of love, laughter and unwavering compassion. Although he may be physically absent, his memory will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, our beloved Mario, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
