Mariela Jensen's Obituary
Mariela Marin Jensen, age 77, passed at
Countryside Mease Hospital in
Safety Harbor, Florida, on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.
Born on May 31, 1942 in Colombia, South America she lived in
New York  before settling in Miami where she owned her own Housekeeping business for many years until she retired in 1991. Soon after, in her golden years she moved to Tampa, Florida
to be close to her daughters and grandchildren.
Mariela was a member of the Open Bible Church
and a prayer warrior for decades until the very end.
Survivors include her daughters: Jaqueline and Bonnie,
her grandchildren: Joshua, Johan, Jelsea,
Jensen, Jasmine, and Caden,
her great grandchildren: Isaiah, Jelena, and Luis,
her sisters and brothers: Aminta, Urbano, Fernando, and Arnulfo
in Colombia, South America.
Mariela loved God, her family, and her friends.
She worked hard all her life to provide for her family.
She was always there when you needed her.
She loved to sing her favorite hymns and also the chorus’ to
“If I were a Carpenter” and “Strawberry Fields”.
Mariela was an amazing cook and did her best to pass her talent
on to her loving daughters.
She told wonderful stories and would recite beautiful poems.
She was sweet, cute, and could always make you laugh.
To know her was truely to Love Her.
