Marie Carmel France's Obituary
Marie Carmel France was born on August 4, 1946 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She was the first of two children of Fleureus Joseph and Panine Gilles. She graduated from Lycee des Jeunes Fille in Port-au Prince, Haiti. She worked as a Home Health Attendant. She loved helping people and devoted her time and resources to assisting families in need in Haiti. She was a fun-loving person who loved life, cooking, and her family.
After battling comorbidities for decades, she passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 5, 2016, in Clearwater, Florida.
Everyone who knew Marie Carmel loved her delicious Haitian-Creole dishes. In Laurelton, NY, the neighborhood praised her for her red rice and beans, curry chicken, lambi, and sauce-pois; just to name a few. She loved to joke, laugh, and dance.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving and devoted husband, Luc France, three sons, Luc, Vladimir (deceased) and Kurtis, two daughters, Ingrid and Kim, eight grandchildren, Monika, Andre, Beaudouin, Isabella, Kurtis, Korey, Kyle, and Kayla. She is also survived by her brother Ti-George, sisters Fleurina and Elvita Joseph, nieces, nephews, and friends.
We will miss her dearly and look forward to the resurrection hope.
