Maria Rios Marques Matienzo's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Maria Magdalena Rios Marques-Matienzo, also known to her family as the beloved Puchi and Nanny, who left us peacefully on Friday, May 17th, at the age of 88 in Mesa, Arizona under the care of her loving daughter Karen.
Maria was an unparalleled mother to her three daughters- Maria, Carmen Elvira, and Karen-and is survived by them and their husbands, her three son-in-laws. Maria also leaves behind her two brothers Vicente and Arturo. Her family was her pride and joy. She extended her nurturing spirit to her grandchildren, three grandsons Luis Xavier, Ricardo, and Chase as well as her granddaughter Natasha, blessing them with her wisdom, kindness, and affection.
Maria will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 26th, 2024, at 10:00 am, held at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Trinity, FL.
Rest in peace, Maria. You will be forever cherished and remembered.
