Maria E Lopez's Obituary
Maria E. Lopez, 92, of Land O’Lakes, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at Royal Oak Nursing Center in Dade City. She was born June 5, 1934, in San German, Puerto Rico, to Antonio and Regina Murphy. After graduating from high school in Puerto Rico, she attended beauty school in New York. She married Bartolo Lopez on June 1, 1957, and the couple started a family, raising five beautiful children together. Maria loved to sew and to cook. Her proudest achievement was taking care of her husband and raising their children.
Maria is survived by her husband Bartolo; her son Edward and daughters Sandra, Annette, and Veronica; and her nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was preceded in passing by her son Dr. Robert Lopez, her sister, and her four brothers.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Royal Oak Nursing Center for providing wonderful care to Maria during her final days.
