Maria Antonopoulos' Obituary
Maria Antonopoulos, born on September 22, 1958, in Montreal, Canada, of proud Greek ancestry, passed away on April 20, 2026, surrounded by love and cherished memories. She lived a life defined by dedication, creativity, integrity, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Maria built a respected career as an accountant, later specializing in fraud investigations, where her keen intellect, strong ethical compass, and attention to detail earned the trust and admiration of those she worked with. Her professional life reflected her commitment to fairness and accountability.
Beyond her career, Maria found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved gardening, nurturing her plants with patience and care. She enjoyed scrapbooking, preserving family memories with creativity and heart. Above all else, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson, whom she adored deeply and unconditionally.
Maria is lovingly survived by her daughter, Christina; son, Robert; grandson, Robert; son-in-law, Don; daughter-in-law, Stephanie, sister Theodora, brother-in-law Jimmy, and 11 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Christos; mother, Spiridoula; and sister Cathy. She was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a steady source of love, strength, and wisdom to all who knew her.
Maria Antonopoulos will be profoundly missed, but her legacy lives on through her family, her values, and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will be forever held in our hearts.
