Marc Pedigo's Obituary
Marc David Pedigo, age 62, passed away on January 19, 2019 at Melech Hospice House in Tampa. He was born on October 25, 1956 in Galesburg, Illinois to Raymond and Donna Pedigo. He was a graduate of Galesburg High School, class of 1974. He was married to Barbara (Parianous) Pedigo on March 20, 1982 in Tampa.
He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at Links of Carrollwood in Tampa where he applied his proficiencies at repairing everything from plumbing and electrical to HVAC. He intuitively understood how things work and was generous with his time and skills and had a sincere desire to help people. Marc was happiest spending time with his family and doing his favorite hobbies and interests: playing and watching golf, cooking (grilling, kitchen sink omelets, beer butt chickens that he would pose in salute), travel (both in person and via reading every Rand McNally road atlas), movies (all genres, but especially Clint Eastwood), and music (classic rock with deep guitar riffs: Bonamassa, Clapton, Pink Floyd, “never mind all that” pop and disco.), and he loved watching his favorite sports teams: Chicago Bears, Florida Gators, the Buccaneers and Lightning. His family and friends will greatly miss his genuine and loving character, life of the party spirit, and unique and endearing sense of humor that was only Marc’s.
Marc is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara (Parianous) Pedigo, children Donna (Jim) Burkhart, Steven (Nicole) Parianous, Jessica (Willie) Dollard, his mother Donna Jean (Akright) Pedigo, sisters Rhonda (Gary) Vilardo, Michelle (Billy) Wright, brother Michael (Lorie) Pedigo, brother-in-law Bill Parianous, sister-in-law Frances Parianous, and his many grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Raymond Pedigo, brothers-in-law Gary Vilardo, Steve Parianous, Jim Parianous, sisters-in-law Angela (Parianous) Gilmore, Sylvia (Parianous) Meadows.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 26th 5:00pm at Links at Carrollwood, 14009 Clubhouse Cir, Tampa, FL.
Memorial donations may be made to Melech Hospice House, 11125 N 52nd St, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
