Lyle T. Hunter's Obituary
Lyle T. Hunter, age 86, of Trinity, Florida, passed away on March 24 after a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Millville, N.J., he was the son to the late Levi and Lilah Hunter. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mitzi Hunter. Together they had four children: Linda Sims, Karen Novitskie, Jeff (wife Heather) Hunter, Michael (wife Liz) Hunter, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother Leslie (partner Peter). He was preceded in death by his brother Louis and sister LaReine. He is survived by many other loving family members and caring friends.
Lyle was an insurance agent in Vineland, N.J for 32 years. He was an Air Force Veteran, Captain and pilot in the Civil Air Patrol, Cumberland Fire Police, prior member of South Vineland Fire Company #2, and named Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow.
Lyle mostly loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed nature and traveling, and completed a 3 month Alaskan expedition in his motorhome with his wife. Lyle could always be found sharing stories, smoking cigars and playing poker with his buddies.
