Louise Percilla Scafati's Obituary
Louise Percilla Scafati, 68, of Tampa, Florida passed away October 18, 2019. Louise was born in Albany, Georgia in 1951 where she graduated from Albany High School. Louise then moved to Tampa, Florida where she attended Patricia Stevens Finishing School and started her family. While pursuing her career in healthcare, she moved to Reston, Virginia; Kalamazoo, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; and West Palm Beach, Florida before eventually returning to Tampa, Florida. Louise had a larger than life personality attracting lifelong friends along her journey. She accepted everyone she met as they were and as a result, acquired an immensely diverse group of friends and loved ones during her 68 years. Louise loved to laugh, enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Del and Zillie Percilla; her sister, Shara Davis; niece, Kim Anglin (Danny); partner, Morris Allen; brother-in-law, Kenny Roberts; and her beloved Wowsie. She is survived by her daughters: Laura Nicole Clark (Byron) and Valerie Christine Scafati; her grandchildren: Anthony Scafati, Dominic Scafati, Sydney Clark, Mia Clark, and Harrison Clark; her brothers: Del Percilla (Elaine) and Phillip Percilla (Yolanda); sister, Barbara Roberts (Kenny); brother-in-law, Jimmie Davis (Patty); nephew, Tony Davis (Amy); nieces: Lauren Percilla and Melissa Percilla; stepdaughter, Sharee McAllister (Oliver); stepsons: John Byrne (Barbara) and Michael Byrne; step-grandsons: Justyn Fulton, A.J. Byrne, and Jack Byrne; step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Byrne; as well as many great-nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and her ‘fur-babies’ (Bella, Skip and Buddy).
Louise’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019. Visitation will begin at 1pm and services will begin at 2:30pm with a reception to follow immediately afterwards at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, Florida 34655. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital @ www.stjude.org.
