Lise R. Michaels, 62, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, in Tampa, Florida, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. She faced her illness with remarkable strength, determination, and grace, fighting as hard as she could every step of the way.
Born on August 18, 1963, in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, Lise lived a life defined by kindness, compassion, and generosity. She was always the first to lend a helping hand, offering support, encouragement, and love to anyone in need. Her caring heart left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Above all else, Lise was an incredible mother and a proud grandmother. She was everything her daughters, Kelly Reichling and Ashley Michaels, could have ever hoped for in a mother. She loved them unconditionally, supported them through every stage of their lives, and was always their greatest source of strength, comfort, and encouragement. One of the greatest joys of her life was recently welcoming her beloved grandson, Beckett. He brought her immeasurable happiness, and she treasured every moment she spent with him.
Lise is survived by her husband, George Michaels III; her daughters, Kelly Reichling and Ashley Michaels; her son-in-law, Eric Reichling; her grandson, Beckett; and her dog, Ellie.
Lise will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering resilience, and the unconditional love she shared with her family and friends. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy of kindness, strength, and selfless love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Her family will forever hold her in their hearts, finding comfort in the memories they shared and in the example she set through a life filled with compassion, courage, and love. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
