Linda Confer's Obituary
Confer, Linda Sue (Urban), 65, passed away peacefully Friday, November 20th surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 30th in Fayetteville, NC (Ft. Bragg). She is survived by her devoted husband John of 46 years; two daughters Jodi Dobson (Roscoe) and Robin Confer; two granddaughters Kiersten and Lindsey Dobson; Her mother Dolores Urban, sisters Karen McLean (Jim) and Gail Rodriguez (Larry), and brother John Urban (Susie). Linda retired after a successful career with Symantec Corporation and volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital North and St. Timothy’s Spanish Ministry in Lutz, FL. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and sense of humor and she will be greatly missed. A mass will be held at St. Ignatius Church in Tarpon Springs, on Monday November 23rd at 2pm. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Linda’s name to Life Path Hospice.
