Laura K. McFadden's Obituary
Laura K. McFadden, 103, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on February 23, 2021. Laura was born March 15, 1917, in Phila., PA to Thomas C. and MaryAnn Lott. Laura was predeceased by her husband Harry T. McFadden, son Harry J. McFadden and companion Robert Blotter, great granddaughter, Bree Taryn Caffey, her parents, four brothers, Stanley Lott (Frances), Raymond Lott (Lois), Rev. Thomas Lott (May) all of New Jersey and Charles Lott, Bayonet Point, FL.
Laura is survived by daughter, Carol S. McFadden, New Port Richey, FL, daughter-in-law, Phyllis McFadden, Lancaster, PA, grandchildren, Robin Caffey (Jeffrey) Willow Street, PA, Dianne Hershey (Shane) Shippensburg, PA, Joanne Beatty (Edward) New Port Richey, FL., Roger Newlin, New Port Richey, FL and Sandra Turek (David) Quarryville, PA., 7 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Ruth Lott, Bayonet Point, FL. and many nieces and nephews.
For thirty years she lived in Collingdale, PA and was an active member of the Collingdale Swim Club and proudly served as committeewoman in the 7th precinct in the town she loved so much.
The last twenty-five years she has lived in New Port Richey, FL where she thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine and her friends and neighbors @ Country Place Village. She was also a member of Hope Methodist Church in Trinity, FL.
We believe her longevity was due to ballroom dancing until the age of 96.
She was dearly loved and will be missed by many people.
Cremation and burial will be private.
