Larry Rogers' Obituary
Larry Wayne Rogers 71, of Palm Harbor, passed away on March 17, 2016, following heart surgery. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Betty; his daughter Kimberly Ann Danon and her husband Andy of Tampa; and Larry's mother Lodema Rogers of Palm Harbor. His father, William T. Rogers, preceded him in death. Larry was born in Fayetteville, NC and spent his formative years in Lexington, KY. He was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and served in the Air Force. He spent his career working in the accounting department for Square D and Essilor. He was a devoted fan of University of Kentucky basketball. Larry was known for his keen sense of humor and light-hearted personality. Larry and Betty loved to travel and especially enjoyed their annual visits to Gatlinburg, TN where they had honeymooned. Larry was a caring husband, proud father, dedicated son, and caring friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be Monday, March 21 from 5 to 7 pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens and funeral services will be held there on Wednesday, March 23 at 11 am.
