Laquetta J. Webber of Tampa, 78, passed away January 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Webber. She is survived by her son Russell Colin Webber and her sister Wanda Ferrish, as well as her niece Diane Barjohn Read Obituary
My world is smaller today because Jo Webber is no longer here. When I moved in next door, she came over and welcomed me with the gift of her friendship and a plant. For the many years we shared as neighbors I could always count on her (and Dale) for ANYTHING. Her earthly journey has ended but she will live in my heart as long as I breathe. Peace to her family. I was so sad to learn that my friend of 40 or so years had passed away. Jo and I worked together at Social Security Admin in Atlanta in late 70's and remained friends through the years.
In addition to her love and dedication to her family, she was always very thoughtful of others, helpful, and compassionate. Jo also possessed a special talent that she shared - she was a very talented artist.
My deepest sympathy to Russell in the loss of his Mother and to other family members for their loss.
Jo Webber was one of the finest people I have ever known. I am truly thankful to have known her and worked with her as members of the Miniature Art Society of Florida. Our friendship went beyond that, however, and I am proud to have known her. She was wise, fair, giving, helpful, thoughtful, talented - and so much more. She spoke often of her family and her heritage. I shall miss my friend.
