Kevin L Knorr's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Kevin Lamar Knorr
January 11, 1956 – March 29, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Lamar Knorr, 69, of New Port Richey, FL. Born on January 11, 1956, in Pennsylvania, Kevin grew up on a farm alongside his siblings before moving to Florida in his late teens. There, he discovered his lifelong passion for cars, which shaped both his career and personal life.
In 2006, Kevin established Knorr’s Car Care Center in Holiday, FL, turning his love for automobiles into a thriving business. Through hard work, expertise, and a commitment to treating every customer like family, he built more than just a shop—he built a legacy. Whether working under the hood, talking shop, or cruising in one of his prized vehicles, Kevin’s enthusiasm for fast and loud cars was unmatched.
Kevin was a devoted husband to his wife of 27 years, Gloria Knorr, and a proud father to Christopher Knorr (Sofia) and Amanda Sue Knorr. His greatest joy was his granddaughter, Cora Knorr, whose laughter always brought a smile to his face. He also leaves behind his beloved six dogs, who were constant companions throughout his life.
One of seven siblings, Kevin is survived by his brothers, Guy and Forrest Knorr, and is reunited in peace with his sister, Sandra Maurer, and brothers, Steven, Barry, and Gary Knorr. Later in life, he found solace in his Tennessee cabin, where he enjoyed peaceful moments with Gloria and their pups.
Though Kevin is no longer with us, his presence will be felt every day—in the shop he built, the cars he cared for, and the many lives he touched. His legacy at Knorr’s Car Care will continue through Gloria, Chris, Sofia, Cora, and the dedicated shop team, who remain committed to upholding the high standards he set.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 13, at 2:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens. We welcome all who knew Kevin to join us in honoring his memory and the mark he left on our community.
With love and remembrance,
The Knorr Family & Knorr’s Car Care Team
