Dear Betty and family, Mike and I have so many memories of fun times with you, Ken and the kids. from church BBQs at Fort De Soto to camping at Ft. Wilderness and watching your kids grow up. I have known you all since 1970 when you moved to Florida and then Mike became part of the church family when we married in 1976. so many good times. Mike often mentioned that Ken was a wonderful example of a Christian husband and father to his children... he made an impact on Mike in the early years of our marriage. We pray for comfort and peace for all of you.

I have many great memories of Ken but I think this one is the dearest.
It was time for the elders to go forward to serve Communion. Ken had been sick for a time and weak. But he stood to his feet and walked to the front and served His Lord and our church for the last time. Such a testimony of his love for both. I will miss him terribly. Rest in peace gentle servant.
Meeting Ken and Betty when we first moved to NC…. Many lovely dinners and Pickin in the Square in NC and visiting them in FL. We miss Ken dearly…. Mike and Sue Green
Ken and I were friends going back to 1970 when we moved to the Tampa Bay area. For years we met for racquetball at 6:00 in the morning and played until we were both blue and sweaty. We'd shower and cool down with a few cups of coffee and then it was off to work.
Ken is one of the best men I've ever known. Active and contributing at school, church and home...I always admired and looked up to him and now he joins all the saints who have gone before us in heaven. I will miss him!
