I am sorry for your loss, I can remember the laughter that I heard on the lake as clear as the day it happenend..I remember the fun times I had with the girls and also watching your Dad cruise around the lake in his boat..our family has thought about you alot over the yrs..our prayers are with u... Here are some more memories about our dad: during the holiday season, our dad would gather all the kids in the neighborhood to go caroling. We were awful, but all the kids participated and loved it. Afterwards, we would all go back to our house for hot chocolate with marshmallows.
Our dad loved old westerns and war movies. He especially loved the Duke, John Wayne. And actually, our dad was larger than life just like the Duke! His favorite actor was Spencer Tracy.
He used to love to smoke a good cigar, or even a cheap one. When we would travel, he would smoke in the car, we would all pray we could sit in the way back of the station wagon to be away from the smoke. Who knew that smoking would turn out to be so dangerous!!!
