Katheryn L Stock's Obituary
Katheryn L. Stock, 68, “a good and faithful servant,” went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2019. Kathy was born on July 26, 1950, in Fenton, Michigan and died in Tampa, Florida. Katheryn is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Elizabeth; son, Matthew and daughter-in-law, Stephanie; and three sisters, Joyce, Ruth and Peggy. She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Bettye Townsend.
Kathy was definitely a people person and always placed the needs of others above her own. Although she had many health problems during the last several years, she always found the time and energy to minister to those around her. Kathy was a devoted mother and wife who loved her family above all else, except for her love of Jesus Christ, who saved her during a revival service in Norman, Oklahoma, in 1982. Kathy was the perfect model of the Godly wife. Her focus during her later years was on sharing friendship and help with everyone she met and the good news of the Gospel to those who did not know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Her favorite Bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11 which greatly helped her get through her many illnesses with a positive attitude. Kathy’s legacy will be the countless people’s lives she touched and influenced during her life.
Memorial services will be held at Mission Hill Church, 10002 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace, FL, on Saturday, April 13th, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity College of Florida or Mission Hill Church Mission Fund. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Trinity Memorial Gardens.
