Karen Rohe's Obituary
Karen Sue Rohe, 70, of Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024. She was born on September 25, 1953, in Newark, New Jersey, to Jack Long and Francis Long.
Karen was a lifelong Mets fan, a loving Gramma to her munchkins Michael and Joseph, and a devoted mother to Robert "Bobby" and Kimberly "Kim". She enjoyed watching the Food Network, Dancing with the Stars, Chicago Wednesdays, and playing Wordle. She also loved gardening and relaxing by her pool. She was always there to cheer on her children and capture every moment with her camera. She was a true outspoken Jersey girl who had a blast meeting up with her Mets group and cheering on her team.
Karen was a hardworking woman who loved her job as a bookkeeper. She was meticulous and detail-oriented in everything she did. Karen is preceded in death by her father, Jack Long. She is survived by her mother, Francis Long, her brother, Ira Long, her daughter, Kim and her husband Mike, her son Bobby and girlfriend Heather, and her grandchildren, Michael and Joseph.
Karen will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she cheer on her Mets from the best seat in the house in peace.
