Justin Pinzaru's Obituary
Justin Micheal Pinzaru, 17, formerly of Hazleton and now a resident of Trinity Florida, passed away on Tuesday afternoon as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on South Old Turnpike Road in Drums.
Born in Hazleton on November 10th 1999, he was a son of Mihai and Jennifer (Dorneman) Pinzaru.
While living locally, Justin attended Drums Elementary-Middle School where he was a consistent honors-student and a member of the Junior National Honor Society. He then attended the HASD STEM School and was involved in various school activities.
Justin enjoyed playing baseball and was a member of the Valley East Little League team that won the district championship in 2012.
After his family relocated to Florida 2 years ago, he stayed in touch with his local friends by competing against one another playing X-Box games. It was not uncommon for those friends, many of whom he grew up with, to travel to Florida to visit.
His maternal grandmother, Carolyn (Balliet) Dorneman preceded him in death.
Along with his parents, he is survived by a brother, Joshua and his 4 sisters, Mallary, Julia, Olivia and Selena, all of Florida; his maternal grandfather, Thomas Dorneman Sr. of Hazleton; paternal grandfather, Victor Pinzaru; paternal grandmother, Lucia Scutaru; maternal step-grandfather, Frank Beck Sr. of Drums; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and loyal friends.
Justin’s funeral service will begin on Monday at the Butler Chapel of Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home located at 530 W. Butler Drive in Drums with a funeral procession leaving at 10:15 AM and traveling to Most Precious Blood Church in Hazleton for a Mass of Christion Burial that will be celebrated at 11 AM. Some mourners may simply choose to go directly to the church and be seated until the procession arrives. As Justin will be sent back to Florida for burial, all services will conclude at the church.
