Judith Westman's Obituary
Judith D. Westman, 75, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away on May 9, 2025. Born to Charles and Barbara Finch on June 18, 1949, Judith was the oldest of eight children, with siblings Lynda Anderson, John Finch, James (Jim) Finch, Cindy Finch, Connie Oestreich, Shelly Worden, and Troy Finch. She graduated from Clinton High School and dedicated her career to being a professional at-home mom. She also explored other ventures, working in produce and as an owner of an antique store in Dunedin. Judith's life journey took her from her birthplace in Clinton, Iowa, to Davenport, Iowa, then Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by Alabaster, Alabama, before she eventually settled in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Judith shared 58 wonderful years of marriage with Gary Westman and together they raised three children: Nikki Jo Westman, Noel Charles Westman, and Garian Nanette Westman. Her joy was further multiplied by her seven grandchildren: Nathan Daugherty, Joshua Westman, Hayden Harberson, Hailey Harberson, Kaliann Spence, Tyler Pope, and Megan Pope. She will be fondly remembered for her great sense of humor and her deep love for her cats and all animals. Her passions included scrapbooking, listening to The Mavericks, cherishing moments spent with her family, and her love for the mountains.
Judith is survived by her beloved husband, Gary Westman; her son, Noel Westman (Ginger); her daughter, Garian Westman; and six grandchildren: Nathan Daugherty (Taryn), Joshua Westman, Hayden Harberson, Hailey Harberson, Tyler Pope, and Megan Pope. She is also survived by her siblings, James (Jim) Finch, Shelly Worden (Roger), and Troy Finch (Jordana), as well as many nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her parents; her brother John; her sisters Lynda, Connie, and Cindy; her daughter Nikki Jo Westman; and her granddaughter Kaliann Spence.
