Judith Vanatt's Obituary
Trinity, Fl- Judith M. Vanatt (Remick), age 84, a long time area resident, peacefully passed after a short illness, on Sunday, September 30, 2018 surrounded by her immediate family.
She was born April 3, 1934 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Herman and Lillian Remick. She was the youngest of three children. After the sudden passing of her father she and her mother moved to the St Pete/Clearwater area in 1950. She graduated from Clearwater High school in 1952. She married in 1953 and had two daughters.
She worked in banking in her early years at First City National Bank, Clearwater and eventually in the business office of ABA manufacturing where she met the love of her life William Vanatt.
After marrying in 1969, William and Judy enjoyed traveling, biking, golfing and motor-homing. They eventually opened Vanatt Machine Company where she ran the business office for 36 years.
She enjoyed maintaining her beautiful home, gardening and growing orchids, golfing, traveling and most of all her grandchildren who adored her. Her latest fascinations were her great grandchildren, they had her thoroughly enchanted.
She was predeceased by her husband, William C. Vanatt Jr on June 16, 2006. She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Cinthia & Isaac Rivera and Sandra & Grover Servis, four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Thursday, October 11, 2018. Visitation 7:00pm, Services 7:30 pm In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to Suncoast Hospice Foundation. SuncoastHospiceFoundation.org.
